Breast Augmentation Seattle WA – Saline and Silicone Implants
Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure for women who want to enhance the size of their breasts. Breast augmentation surgery can be administered by implementing different techniques and methods. Traditionally a breast implant is used to increase size to the breast. The breast implant can be filled with saline (salt water) or silicone gel. Some patients are good candidates for a different type of augmentation/enlargement technique or procedure, where fat is removed from unwanted areas of the body using liposuction surgery and is then transferred to the breast area. A mastopexy or breast lift can also be done in conjunction with breast enhancement surgery.
Healthy women who want to increase their bust size, as well as women who want to restore size that was lost after pregnancy, are candidates for Seattle breast augmentation surgery.

Will I need a lift also?
A lift and augmentation are procedures that are commonly combined. An in-person examination is needed to determine whether you’d benefit from adding a lift to an augmentation surgery, but generally woman whose nipple lies below the crease (fold under the breast) will benefit from a lift. The incisions for a lift vary and can be placed around the areola, from the areola to the crease, and within the breast crease. Greater degrees of sagging (ptosis) require the use of one, or all three, incisions. During your consultation, Dr. Hayes will discuss whether adding a lift to your enlargement surgery would improve the shape of your breasts.
