Breast Lift in Seattle WA – Mastopexy

Breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure for women who want to lift and reshape their breasts. A mastopexy restores a more youthful appearance. Breast lift surgery can be performed using different patterns of incisions. Incisions are made on the breast so that the nipple and areola can be lifted, the breast tissue is reshaped, and excess skin is removed.

Healthy women who want to restore a more youthful appearance to their breasts are candidates for mastopexy surgery. Breast augmentation surgery can also be combined with a mastopexy procedure to add size to the breasts.

During your consultation in Seattle Washington you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your goals and talk about the look that you want to achieve. While at your visit, Dr. Hayes will discuss the different types of mastopexy procedures and the incisions that are involved. If you desire an increase in your breast size, you’ll also be able to try on implants. Together with Dr. Hayes you’ll be able to decide which procedures are right for you.

Breast lift procedures are performed under general anesthesia in a state-of-the-art Medicare certified operating room. You’re cared for by board certified physician anesthesiologists from Swedish Hospital’s anesthesia group.

The appropriate technique for you will be determined based on:

  • Breast size and shape
  • The size and position of your areolas
  • The degree of breast sagging
  • Skin quality and elasticity as well as the amount of extra skin

After the surgery Dr. Austin Hayes stays in close contact with each patient to make sure that he’s personally available to answer any questions that may arise.

New statistics from the American Society of Plastic Surgeons show breast lifts have grown 70% since 2000, outpacing breast implants 2-to-1. *www.plasticsurgery.org
